Workshop with Vidwan Lakshmish Bhat from Mysore

Ashtanga Yoga Malmö
We are delighted to welcome back Vidwan Lakshmish Bhat, our Indian chanting and philosophy teacher from Mysore. Laksmish last visited our shala in 2023 and he’ll return to teach in Malmö on 16-17th May 2025. The workshop is organized in co-operation with Astanga Yoga Copenhagen and Yogashala Stockholm.
Join us for an inspiring two-day workshop where Lakshmish shares his expertise of yogic chanting, its meaning and philosophy, including japa practice (mantra repetition). The workshop will also explore kriyas – yogic purification techniques – and their effects on the body and mind. On the Friday evening Lakshmish will hold a special puja, a memorial ceremony, in honour of our late teacher Sri R Sharath Jois.
Everyone is welcome, regardless of prior experience. Come and deepen your knowledge of the practice of Yoga directly from the source in Mysore.
